The Elixir Aircraft team took part in the 54th Paris Air Show, which was held from 19 to 25 June at Le Bourget airport. Missed the big announcements? No problem! Here’s a summary of everything that was announced at the event.
On the occasion of the Paris Air Show, Elixir Aircraft unveiled its prototype for a low-carbon propulsion aircraft at the Paris Air Lab. Developed as part of a CORAC program in collaboration with Air Liquide, Safran, Daher and Turbotech, the aim of this program is to accelerate the market launch of innovative, more environmentally-friendly aircraft powered firstly by biofuel and then by hydrogen.
At the Paris Air Show, Elixir Aircraft announced that Sierra Charlie Aviation, based in Scottsdale (Arizona, USA), has ordered more than 100 Elixir Full Glass Cockpit 100HP, part 23, of which 50 are optional. Elixir Aircraft and Sierra Charlie Aviation are both driving the evolution of the flight training industry. Given the high demand for airline pilots, the Elixir aircraft will be integrated into Sierra Charlie’s highly successful Aviator Career programme. This programme is designed and focused on training the best pilots, and allows students with no flying experience to obtain all the certifications and qualifications.
On the occasion of the International Air and Space Show, Elixir Aircraft, manufacturer of low-carbon aircraft, Aire Nouvelle, the low-carbon property development subsidiary of Equans France, and its partners, have announced the signing of a design contract for the construction of a new factory. Covering an area of 14,000 m², this highly energy-efficient and environmentally-friendly industrial site will house all production and assembly activities for the Elixir aircraft.
Elixir Aircraft has set itself an ambitious target: to eventually produce more than 300 aircraft a year. To meet demand, the plant is expected to employ over a thousand people by 2033. All will benefit from support in terms of soft mobility to further improve environmental performance.

Elixir Aircraft is continuing its expansion in the European market with the firm sale of four aircraft to Luxembourg. This is another international success for the aircraft manufacturer from La Rochelle, following the recent announcement of a pre-order for 100 Elixir aircraft for the United States.
The International Aviation Academy of New Zealand signs a letter of intent for 10 Elixir 100HP Full Glass Cockpit aircraft:
The aircraft manufacturer and the New Zealand vocational training organisation embark on an exciting partnership.
