Elixir Aircraft - Elixir Aircraft's R&D enters the big league

Elixir Aircraft's R&D at the top of innovation.

5 years of innovation and hard work are paying off. Elixir Aircraft's technological excellence has been doubly awarded with the launch of a European H2020 programme and a DGAC CORAC project with - among others - Daher and Airbus. Guided by the major societal challenges facing France and Europe, these programs aim to promote a safer, more economical and more eco-friendly aviation. For an amount of nearly €5 million (including €1.7 million financed by Elixir Aircraft), H2020 and CORAC are ensuring, on the one hand, the launch of new studies by enabling the recruitment of new employees and the acquisition of the equipment necessary for R&D and, on the other hand, are supporting the start of serial production to ensure the success and longevity of the Elixir Aircraft adventure.

H2020 Confirming the seriousness and relevance of its project, Elixir Aircraft is one of the 4% of European companies selected from 1765 candidates by a jury of experts from the private and institutional sectors (company directors, entrepreneurs, financiers, academics, researchers, etc.). Financing the excellence of European R&D, this H2020 programme will enable Elixir Aircraft to ensure a smooth start to serial production and to accelerate the development of its 4th generation aircraft range to the benefit of the user and the environment.

CORAC (Civil Aeronautics Research Council) Recognized for its unique experience in innovative composite structures, Elixir Aircraft was selected by Daher and Airbus to join them in a research project co-financed by the DGAC. The aim of the project is to develop methods for the development and certification of innovative products, processes or systems in order to accelerate the emergence of breakthrough innovations that meet the challenges of the sector (environment, safety, operating costs, etc.).
