Stall tests

October 24, 2019

As part of the CS-23 certification, we have performed hundreds of stalls in many configurations.

In this test, the goal is to keep the control stick at the belly throughout the stall, while banking the aircraft successively 30° to the right and 30° to the left (with the stick in stop each time), before recovering. The pilot keeps control of the aircraft during all the test.

This video is also an opportunity to see the interest of the angle of attack (AoA) indicator and the additional layer of safety it provides!
